Uji is Home ( by Momma Tea )

We saw the vet and he said Uji has done really well, he has no stitches on the outside as he didn’t want him to have too nasty a scar so he has subcutaneous stitches and a nice plaster on his leggy. He has to go back in three days for a check up and is not allowed to run around like a loony tune mad thing for a week. He is allowed out in the garden on his leash and once the week is up we have to encourage him to use his leg normally. So the reality is no where near as bad as the picture painted by all the internet reading I did ( that will teach me won’t it ).

While we were waiting for the bet nurse to bring Uji out Izzy decided to have a seizure and it did last quite a while but we were in the best place for her to have one I guess, we took her into a  darkened consulting room and waited for her to come round but she took a lot longer than normal so the vet came in and had a look at her. Thankfully she started coming round but it still took her a while to become ‘our’ Izzy again. The vet has suggested we get her in for tests soon so they can sort her out some medication but in the mean time we have been given diazepam rec-tubes just in case we need them.

Uji is being so good I could not be more proud of him if I tried.

  5. Uji, you look so relaxed and hap-pee to be home. And your bed looks so soft and comfy! You be using your toy for a pillow! Can I send sissy April over to be your pillow??? Her would like that.

Give Izzy special hugs and licks from all of us. Her will be fine like sissy April once her gets on da meds.

  6. Wow, I'm so glad little Uji came out okay! He'll have a long recovery, but it sounds like the surgery was a good success. Sending lots of healing vibes to him and also to Izzy.
