Ohh POO

Sitting here with tears running down my face, am so worried for my little Uji and so scared for him. I am not one for saying why me or why us or it isn’t fair but you know what it isn’t blooming fair at all in fact it sucks BIG TIME. My little lad has not got a mean bone in his beautiful body and certainly does not deserve to go through all of this. I am also scared about how I am going to cope afterwards as I am a complete wuss when my furbabes are in pain or ill especially when I am not 100% myself. What if I am not up to the job, what if I hurt him. I feel so silly worrying so much as I am sure I will be fine but if I am honest I guess I expected the vet to say ohh he just has a small torn muscle and I was hoping against hope it would not be anything needing surgery.

Trio’s Momma Here

We are all so sorry we have not visited your Howl-O-Ween posts today but Uji has been in the hospital today having x rays and leggy manipulation. As you know he has a slip a couple of weeks ago and has some leggy problem. Well it is not as simple as we had hoped and he has a condition known as LCP ( Legg-Calve-Perthes disease ) which has caused the head of his femur to be deformed , his right leg is shorter than his left and he has some muscle wastage on his leg also. So he has to have major surgery on Wednesday, an procedure called Femoral head and neck excision. It is quite a big operation and Uji will need crate rest for a couple of weeks and then rehabilitation therapy for a while with short slow controlled leash walks. It will take two to three months for complete recovery but my baby is a strong young fellow so he should do just fine. Me on the other hand I am a bundle of nerves and worries and will be until it is over and done with and he is home where he belongs and I can keep my eye on him. Unfortunately these things do happen and thankfully we have great vets so I know he will be in the best of hands but added Power of the Paw and healing vibes, thoughts and prayers will not go amiss.

Once he has been dropped of at the hospital on Wednesday I am off out to get him lots of bones and toys that he can chew on and play with, that he does not need to move around to play with so he does not get bored while he is on enforced rest. So if any of you have any good boredom busting ideas please share them with me if you could as I have never had to do this before.

Anyway I wanted you all to know how it went and as you can imagine I am rather upset so am off to have a bath and an early-ish night now and snuggle up with my boy.

VET TRIP

Wee has just come back from a vet trips wivs Bruvva Uji cos hims leggy is still playin up n him is reely chewin his footsies too, hims has nommed lots ov his floof off !!

So Popi came homes n mee, Moomi, Popi n Uji wents out. Wee toddled ups da road to somefing called a bus house to wait fur somefing. Dis hooj, noisy big fing came chuggin up n opened its most mahoosive mouth up n Moomi n Popi carried us into it’s mouth !!!!! Mee wos shakin like a likkle leef. Butts den mee saw dere wos comfy seats n ova hoo-peeps on dere so mee calmed down a bits. It started movin n Uji wos like dis is soooo much fun, mee wos still not convinced  butts some hoo-peeps started sayin how loverly wee wos which helped n wen da bus monsta stopped at da big bus house Moomi lets mee hav a wander round it n  a ggood sniff at everyfing befor it set off again. Mee wos okays den wiv it n settled down fur snuggles.

Wee gots to da vet shop n went to see a laydee vet but mee n Moomi left Popi n Uji to it cos Moomi gets all weird n peculiar ( well more den normal ), her cants do da litkkle fings like dis butt her can do da serious stuffs. Anyhoo da vet laydee sayd him may havs pulled hims leggy muscle n him has aunty-flamey-tori medeesin, hims foot chewin is cos hims skin is messed ups cos ov hims age ( hims has da same sorta fing as teenage hoo-peeps gets like acne ) n somes ovs his spots is a bit infected so him hads a big aunty-bye-otikal needle. Hims dids squeal big time at dat n mee felts awful fur hims If him show no gettin better him has to go back fur exy rays n leggy man-ip-yoo-layshun so wee is hopin hims gets  better reel quick fast. Mee is off to snuggle down now wiv Moomi now cos her is all achy now afta bein bounced on da bus monsta n her needs cuddles. Ov course mee is most happisome to oblige her.

OMD WOTS A DAY.

Wot wivs mee slippin n hurtin mi leggy yestiday n limpin like a loon on offs today. Mee finks mee has just pulled a muskle so mee is takin it easy n keepin calm. Den dis mornin da EVIL seizure monster dids visit sista Izzy, her dids puke twice befor da moster came n wen him went mee dids just cuddle up wivs her in da likkle bed. Mee kept her company n mades sure her was okays. She slept fur quite a while which wos most good fur her mee finks.

Later on Aunty Lyn n Jo Jo came to visits n hims n mee is gettin on much better him is not so grrr-y wivs mee n him n mee can go in da garden n make pee pee smells togevva now which is sooper kewl. Hims is feelin comfy enuff round mee now to go in our beds n roll around making ohhhh n awwwwww noises YAY fur Jo-Jo.

Afta Jo-Jo n Aunty Lyn lefts our house Izzy wents n puked again n had dat EVIL MONSTA came backs again but her is restin quietly again now, her seizures are not grand mal ones butts dem still a bits ov a worry. Da vet peeps her saw befor comin to us finks dem is whore-moan-all so wivs Ronnii bein in see-sons it cood bee wots settin hers off and/or settin Izzy’s whore-moans off as well. Wee is gonna keeps a veri close eye on her so don’t worry too much butts could yoo send her some healin forts just to be on da safe sides pleese. So ifs fings wivs all ov us do not picks up wee is all offs to see da vet man in da near future butts hopefully wovs rest n quiet wee will all bee hunky dory !

Well wee has hads some fun afta Moomi gots back from her zappin yesterday Sidney came fur a visit wivs his new Moms. It be wordless Wensday, well wee dids havs a likkle problem last nite, afta it had been so hots here it was veri chilly last nite so da back door was shutted earlier. Izzy didsn’t go out fur a wee wen DML gav her da chance and while DML was doin her teefies n last tinkle Izzy did her last tinkle all ova DML bed…….! Her was not best pleased butts knew it wos not reelly Izzy’s fault fankfully.
