Lately our Missi Bean has beened havin some problems wivs her rite leggy, holdin its up a lot n nots bein able to jump onto da couch n stuffs likes dat . Da pawrents tooked her to see Dr Anthony last Fryday n hims sayd her hads a veri sever luxatin patella n needed a hoperayshun veri quicks. Da soonest dats dem coods do it wos on da Tuesday. So Momster tooked her to da hopsital on Tuesday n lefted her wivs da brilliant Dr Mark hoo dids mi ( Uji ) big leggy surjury n hims is veri veri pawesome. Hims explained all da fings dat coods happen wivs da surjury witch gived Momster da wiggins . Momster n Popster collekted Da Bean last nite n wee is all so happisome hers is home again wee wos all so sads wivsout her here . Wee is bein veri gentle wivs her n givin her lots ovs space on da couch next to Momster n hers is snoozin lots butts da a goodli fing wee finks.

Aniways Missi Bean has had two bits ovs her leggy bone all sorted n fixed n her stretched ligament fixed an her has wires n pins in her likkle leggy so our Bean is now a bionikal girl. Her has to rest properli fur a whole week n den her can havs some gentle exercise fur a monf. Butts yoo know our Bean her marches to da beats ovs her veri own drum………….BOL

Izzy here wivs Uji update

Mee has foned da vet hopsital to see how mi bruvva is an hims ate big noms last nite butts is not too hungry todays. Him dids sleep wells which is grate n hims dids go into da garden fur a potty trip dis mornin n hims did put his poorly legs tootsies on da ground eva so gently. Hims is sittin well to da nurse is most impressed wivs him YAY Uji !!!!. Moomi can collect hims a ten after 6 tonites n her is so happisome bouts dat.

Moomi has gotted Uji lots ovs boredom bustin toys n some ov dem is in da freezer-ma-bob cos dem has da pee-nutty butters n yoghurt in dem. Her dids buy him two new blankies ovs  his favorite kind so hims will be nice n cosi-some. Her just cant wait fur him to gets back home wivs all ovs us now.

Will tell yoo more wen hims is all home again.

Well

I have left my baby at the vets and finally got home after stopping to buy boredom busting toys for my boy. Got the train home and now have to wait another 3 hours before I can phone them and see what’s going on. I did stop for a cup of coffee and a little blub in a corner of Maccy D’s before I made my way home as didn’t want to upset the girls by blubbing when I got home.

I will let you all know any news as soon as I do . Thank you all for being there for us.

Trio’s Momma Here

We are all so sorry we have not visited your Howl-O-Ween posts today but Uji has been in the hospital today having x rays and leggy manipulation. As you know he has a slip a couple of weeks ago and has some leggy problem. Well it is not as simple as we had hoped and he has a condition known as LCP ( Legg-Calve-Perthes disease ) which has caused the head of his femur to be deformed , his right leg is shorter than his left and he has some muscle wastage on his leg also. So he has to have major surgery on Wednesday, an procedure called Femoral head and neck excision. It is quite a big operation and Uji will need crate rest for a couple of weeks and then rehabilitation therapy for a while with short slow controlled leash walks. It will take two to three months for complete recovery but my baby is a strong young fellow so he should do just fine. Me on the other hand I am a bundle of nerves and worries and will be until it is over and done with and he is home where he belongs and I can keep my eye on him. Unfortunately these things do happen and thankfully we have great vets so I know he will be in the best of hands but added Power of the Paw and healing vibes, thoughts and prayers will not go amiss.

Once he has been dropped of at the hospital on Wednesday I am off out to get him lots of bones and toys that he can chew on and play with, that he does not need to move around to play with so he does not get bored while he is on enforced rest. So if any of you have any good boredom busting ideas please share them with me if you could as I have never had to do this before.

Anyway I wanted you all to know how it went and as you can imagine I am rather upset so am off to have a bath and an early-ish night now and snuggle up with my boy.
